Bourbon Selection notes

Basil Hayden Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Aroma- charred oak and sweet notes of vanilla & caramel with hints of dried fruit

Taste- charred oak flavor that is complemented with sweet brown sugar, a touch of black pepper, and dried fruit to round it out

Finish- a pleasant, lingering charred oak finish with a touch of dried fruit 

Bib & Tucker Small Batch Bourbon

Aromas of vanilla, freshly mowed grass and leather-bound books. Notes of sweet fruit, vanilla beans, caramel and dried apricots dominate the palate, and are complemented by a subtle touch of ginger spice. The finish is complex and lingers, with hints of chestnuts and corn  

Bulleit

Medium amber in color, with gentle spiciness and sweet oak aromas. Mid-palate is smooth with tones of maple, oak, and nutmeg. Finish is long, dry, and satiny with a light toffee flavor.  

Bulleit 10 Year

Deep russet in color, rich oaky aromas. Consistently smooth taste with vanilla, dried fruit, and a long, smoky finish.

91.2 proof (45.6% ABV) • 68% corn, 28% rye, 4% malted barley 

Buffalo Trace

This deep amber whiskey has a complex aroma of vanilla, mint and molasses. Pleasantly sweet to the taste with notes of brown sugar and spice that give way to oak, toffee, dark fruit and anise. This whiskey finishes long and smooth with serious depth. 

Blanton's Single Barrel

A deep, satisfying nose of nutmeg and spices. Powerful dry vanilla notes in harmony with hints of honey amid strong caramel and corn. A medium finish composed of returning corn and nutmeg flavors. 

Elijah Craig

COLOR: Burnished copper

AROMA: Delightfully complex with notes of vanilla bean, sweet fruit, and fresh mint

TASTE: Smooth and warm; pleasantly woody with accents of spice, smoke, and nutmeg

FINISH: Long, sweet, and slightly toasty

Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel

COLOR: Roasted pecans

AROMA: Lots of toasted oak with rich caramel

TASTE: Big, rich, and complex. Delightful spice
and pepper notes fade to milk chocolate
with just a hint of smoke

FINISH: Complexity continues. Nicely warming, with
lingering chocolate and baking spices

Elijah Craig 18 Year Old

COLOR: Warm, deep leather

AROMA: Aged oak, spiced vanilla, with
notes of mint and chocolate

TASTE: Richly textured, nutty, and
semisweet. Initial bursts of
honey give way to toasted
wood and pleasant char

FINISH: Lively and engaging, then lingers
with vanilla and pepper.

Four Roses Single Barrel

NOSE Dried spice, pear, cocoa, vanilla and maple syrup.

PALATE Hints of ripe plum and cherries, robust, full body, mellow.

FINISH Smooth and delicately long.

Jefferson's Very Small Batch

Nose: Brown sugar with a hint of citrus

Flavor: Vanilla, peaches, toffee

Finish: Delicate & warm, honey

Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea

Nose: Aromas of cinnamon buns, orange zest, burnt sugar and marshmallow

Flavor: Thick notes of salted caramel, figs and chocolate fudge

Kentucky Owl The Wiseman

A sweet caramel aroma, followed by a warming allspice lift, a sprinkling of citrus and a hint of oak. Caramel and allspice present an excellent flavor as the mildly silky liquid crosses the tongue. The allspice sticks around for a longer finish with caramel. Proof: 90.8

Maker's Mark

Aroma: Sweet oak, vanilla, bright fruit and wheat prevail in the nose

Taste: Sweet with balance of oak, vanilla and fruity essences

Finish: Smooth and creamy with a pleasant soft spice and clean finish

Aroma: Hints of toasty French oak, caramel and baking spices

Taste: Mildly sweet and uniquely layered with deep rich notes of vanilla and baking spice

Old Forester

Aroma: Sharp and sweet, with a strong floral character that swirls with hints of mint, rich tobacco leaf and vanilla 

Taste: A touch of oak and pine provides a strong underpinning. Sharp at first but softens quickly, with hints of oak, sweet corn and rye grain character. Spicy, with soft vanilla and light orange notes

Finish: Long, warm and slightly drying. Nice level of sweetness.

Woodford Reserve

Nose: Heavy with rich dried fruit, hints of mint and oranges covered with a dusting of cocoa. Faint vanilla and tobacco spice.

Taste: Rich, chewy, rounded and smooth, with complex citrus, cinnamon and cocoa. Toffee, caramel, chocolate and spice notes abound.

Finish: Silky smooth, almost creamy at first with a long, warm satisfying tail.

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked

Nose: Rich notes of dark fruit, caramel, sharp honey, chocolate, marzipan and toasted oak.

Taste: A full-bodied mix of vanilla, dark caramel, hazelnut, apple, fruit and spices.

Finish: Long and creamy with lingering hints of honeyed apple.

Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year

TASTING NOTES: A sweet vanilla nose with caramel, pecan and oak wood. Smooth, mellow flavor consisting of robust wheat, cherries and oak. Features a long, smoky wheat finish with hints of fruit, spice and oak tannins.

Pappy Van Winkle 15 Year

Expressly produced according to the exclusive Van Winkle family wheated-recipe and specially selected from barrels in the heart of the aging warehouses, this bourbon remained undisturbed for 15 years to age in deep-charred heavy oak untouched by human hands, unhurried by time.
